One can bring this down to an economic negotiation, or build a transitioning path that benefits both the individual and the company as a whole.

With the Good Leave service, we take people on a path along the different aspects of complexity: the person will be encouraged to articulate negative emotions such as anger and grief whilst also being encouraged to reflect on the positive events and the experiences they have acquired, to review the competencies they have developed. Starting from here, (s)he will build the thought of the future, collecting all the energies and identifying the targets for the next phase of her/his professional life
